It’s official, after 5-6 years of being a Platinum Frequent Flyer, I’ve just received my new card confirming my drop to the Gold tier…on the plus side though, I am home a lot more now and I get to spend more time with family and friends than I used to.

Up too early, at least I’m heading home today. Basically been away for 2 weeks at conferences. 😴

Almost in Hobart

Another week, another trip away for a conference. This time I’m off to Hobart.

Jetstar can be so frustrating, because they use the automated check-in machines in Brisbane, there’s no ability for human intervention to check you in even just 5 minutes early.

It makes no sense at all, wouldn’t it be better to check me in 5 minutes early to keep things flowing along, rather than banking people up and have them standing around blocking doorways and what not…

Great day out at Tivua Island. Finally got Travis to come out snorkeling with me, the very first fish we see is a Black Tip Reef Shark swimming straight at us, amazing! It was only a foot long, scared him silly though, he also got to see Clown Fish, Blue Trevally, plenty of Star Fish, and a whole bunch of other fish we couldn’t name 🦈 🐠 🐟
