📺 Watched Ironheart
Genius teenage inventor Riri Williams creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man.
I’m usually a fan of pretty much everything Marvel puts out, this one didn’t vibe with me at all, though I’m probably not the target audience either.
🎥 Watched The Surfer
A man returns to the idyllic beach of his childhood to surf with his son. When he is humiliated by a group of locals, the man is drawn into a conflict that keeps rising and pushes him to his breaking point.
Do not watch! It’s absolutely terrible.
📺 Watched Lovecraft Country
Lovecraft Country follows Atticus Freeman as he joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback.
Terrifying in so many ways, but so very good!
🎥 Watched Captain America: Brave New World
Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, finds himself in the middle of an international incident and must discover the motive behind a nefarious global plan.
I don’t mind Sam as the new Cap.
🎥 Watched Fear Street: Prom Queen (2025)
When the “it” girls competing for prom queen at Shadyside High start to disappear, a gutsy outsider discovers she’s in for one hell of a prom night.
Good twist! 👸
