  • 📺 Watching: Wednesday (TV Series 2022– )

A sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student a Nevermore Academy.

  • 📺 [The Great North](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9140632/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk) has been one of my favourite discoveries this year, super funny, really dry humour, and quite weird.

    And there’s 5 seasons of it! 🐻

  • 📺 Loved the second season of [Andor](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9253284/)! I think I’m going to rewatch it from the very first episode through Rogue One seeing as that portion of the arc is pretty much complete now.

  • 🎥 Watched: [The Killing Game](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0327785/)

    > When a hitman is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take a hit out on himself. But when the very hitmen he hired also target his ex-girlfriend, he must fend off an army of assassin colleagues.

Not a bad movie, full of all the cliches you’d expect from the genre, kind of a fun “John Wick” vibe.

  • 🎥 Watching: [MaXXXine](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt22048412/)

    > In 1980s Hollywood adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.

There’s a certain weirdness and awkwardness that Mia Goth brings to her roles that works quite well for the characters she tends plays.

  • 🎥 Watching: [Sicario](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3397884/)

    > An idealistic FBI agent is enlisted by a government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs at the border area between the U.S. and Mexico.

  • 📺 Just finished season one of [The Gentlemen](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13210838)

    > When aristocratic Eddie inherits the family estate he discovers that it’s home to a huge weed empire and its proprietors aren’t going anywhere.

Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

  • 📺 Favourite TV shows from 2024

    > The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee.

    [Slow Horses](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5875444/) – Season 2

    > Follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve as a dumping ground department of MI5 due to their career-ending mistakes.

    > Follows a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts who use the town’s sudden interest in the occult to start a reputation as a Satanic metal band, until a strange series of events triggers a witch hunt that leads back to them.

Honourable mentions go to [Fake](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt29120226/), [Creature Commandos](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26545355/), [The Agency](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt26656917/), [Twilight Of The Gods](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5875444/), [Landman](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14186672/) and [The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11828386/).

  • 🎥 Watched: [Longlegs (2024)](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt23468450/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)

    > FBI Agent Lee Harker is a gifted new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer. As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of the occult, Harker discovers a personal connection to the merciless killer and must race against time to stop him before he claims the lives of another innocent family.

Kinda meh, despite Nicholas Cage being quite creepy as the killer. 2/5
